About
Hi, I’m JackSparrow414.
I’m currently focused on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), with an emphasis on system stability, observability, troubleshooting, and operations automation. I aim to use engineering practices to reduce repetitive work, make systems more reliable, and make problems easier to detect, understand, and solve.
My learning and hands-on work mainly center on Java backend development, message queues, and databases. I also explore C, Rust, and the principles behind operating systems and networks. These studies help me understand how systems work and why things go wrong.
I like to start with real problems and explore the underlying principles by reading documentation, analyzing source code, and writing examples. Taking problems seriously, thinking them through, and solving them is an approach I strive to maintain.
This blog records what I learn and put into practice: the problems I encounter, the approaches I try, and the reasoning behind the solutions. I hope these notes help me build on what I’ve learned and give others facing similar problems a useful reference.
Do better, do more.
