During API acceptance testing today, I could not log in to the development environment: it kept returning 502 errors. I asked the people responsible for deploying the environment to investigate, but their checks showed that the environment was working normally. I then opened the browser console and found that the domain was resolving to the wrong IP address; it should have been 181. That pointed to a DNS problem. After checking my local DNS configuration, I changed the DNS server settings.
